Bushnell 10x42 H2O Roof Prism Binoculars (Dark Blue)

The dark blue 10x42 H2O Roof Prism Binoculars are ideal for mid- to long-range glassing—from birdwatching to hiking & camping to enjoying sporting events, or just sightseeing around town. Bushnell built them using ecologically friendly glass that is manufactured without lead to be better for the environment.

They are outfitted with compact BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection multicoatings that work together to maximize light transmission to deliver bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color rendition and crisp resolution, even in challenging conditions. To withstand harsh conditions, the chassis is nitrogen-filled to resist internal fogging and O-ring sealed to an IPX7 waterproof rating—so these binos will handle a tumble into a pond or puddle better than you.

Optical Performance

  • High 10x magnification allows users to make detailed observations of distant objects
  • 42mm objective lenses boost light-gathering ability versus compact models for improved low-light performance without the bulk of larger objectives
  • Compact roof prism light path keeps the optical tubes thin for easy handling
  • BAK4 prisms deliver a round exit pupil, and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • Anti-reflection fully multicoated optics maximize light transmission while improving color rendition, contrast, and clarity
  • Apparent angle of view approaches wide angle to help minimize the appearance of the distracting hand-shake that is common when holding high-power optics, and presents an immersive observational experience
  • 305-foot field of view at 1000 yards

Use and Handling

  • Closed-bridge configuration offers a stable platform for the internal focusing mechanism
  • Textured and slip-resistant center focusing knob is easy to use even in cold and wet conditions or while wearing gloves
  • Right-eye dioptric correction dial helps to compensate for individual optical prescription
  • Twist-up eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear
  • Standard 1/4"-20 socket on the front of the bridge hinge allows the use of an optional adapter to mount the binocular onto a tripod, head, or quick release plate
  • 15.6mm eye relief improves viewing comfort with reduced eye strain
  • Comfortable 4.2mm exit pupil will cover most pupils as they open and dilate in low light and ensures the entire scene remains in view without vignetting
