The Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC II Canon M Full Frame Lens is a fast, wide-angle, manual focus prime lens for full-frame cameras and also for APS-C sensors. It is a professional prime lens that delivers exceptional resolution and sharpness with outstanding optical construction.

The Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC II Canon M Full Frame Lens was designed to suit SLR and DSLR cameras. On a full-frame camera, the 35mm focal length has universal applications. It is a bright and fast wide-angle lens perfect for landscape, journalism and everyday scenarios.

The wide apertures of the 35mm provide beautiful bokeh, which is perfect for portrait type applications where ultra smooth out of focus backgrounds or foregrounds is preferred. This technique helps to separate the subject from the background giving very pleasing and professional results. Aided by its 8 aperture bladed design, the smoothness of the bokeh provided by the Samyang 35mm is excellent.

The optical design of the Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC II Canon M Full Frame Lens is 12 elements arranged in 10 groups and includes 2 high refractive lenses (HR). The inclusion of a glass aspherical lens (ASP) minimizes colour aberration, and Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) provides high contrast and trustworthy colour reproduction. It is designed according to a floating system to preserve high image quality and resolution within a close focusing distance.

An aperture control motor and CPU chip are installed within 35mm F1.4 AS UMC Canon AE lens to assist Auto Exposure(AE) for Canon cameras. The aperture can be controlled from the camera body thanks to the motor and chip. Also, the appropriate focus is guided with indicator light.

This lens is supplied with front and rear lens caps, a petal-type lens hood (which is reversible for transporting) and a soft lens pouch. The filter size is 77mm.
