The new Laowa 15mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine lens is one of the widest and brightest lens ever designed for full frame / vista vision sensors. Offering a distortion-free 110° Angle of view, it is perfect for architecture and cityscape shots. The large T/2.1 aperture also makes it extremely useful to shoot in low light situation. The tiny size & lightweight makes it a perfect companion with gimbals and run-and-gun shooting.

The 15mm works very well with cinema cameras with large format (full frame) sensors. It is also currently the widest t/2.1 lens in the market covering large format sensors.

Solid construction with practical features

77mm filter thread for using with standard screw-in filters. 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focus rings. Stepless aperture ring offers smooth control of iris.

T2.1 fast aperture & focus as close as 6″

The lens incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to suppress both spherical and chromatic aberrations. Bright T2.1 maximum aperture is well-suited for difficult lighting conditions. Focusing as close as 6″ (15cm), it allows filmmakers to compose with more flexibility and create shallow depth of field with wider perspective .

Close-to-Zero Distortion

In addition to the ultra-wide-angle field of view, it also delivers exceptional image quality with the best distortion control in its class. This close-to-zero distortion (Zero-D) design is extremely useful when shooting architectural, aerial and indoor footage.
