Deity PR-2 Stereo Pocket Recorder with Lavalier Mic

As an audio professional, you know that having a reliable and portable audio recorder is essential for capturing high-quality recordings on the go. The Deity PR-2 Stereo Pocket Recorder with Lavalier Mic is a small but mighty device that packs a punch with an impressive range of features that make it stand out from the competition.

The Deity PR-2 Pocket Recorder comes equipped with a locking 3.5mm stereo mic / stereo line input. This feature allows for versatility in audio recording, which is essential for capturing sound in a variety of settings, such as tapping a mixing board for a feed at a wedding, directly recording a lavalier microphone, or even mounting it to a 3.5mm video mic for a portable shotgun setup.

The PR-2 features a toggle switch on the top that allow you to pass the microphone PiP from the output thru to the input. This means you can daisy chain the PR-2 with a transmitter so you can add recording functionality to any transmitter you might own. This also means even if the PR-2 is turned off, the transmitters PiP is still passing thru to power your lavalier.

The PR-2 pocket recorder supports 24-bit and 32-bit float recording formats, which means that you can always achieve perfect gain staging. The 32-bit float is an excellent feature that ensures that you won't clip your audio, even if you record too hot. This feature is especially handy if you're recording in a live setting where you don't have the luxury of being able to monitor your levels constantly.

The PR-2 Pocket Recorder can wirelessly sync timecode from the Deity TC-1 timecode generator boxes, which is a great feature for easily adding timecode metadata to your WAV files. This will allow your audio to be synced up in post to your video footage more easily and significantly quicker, saving you time and money. Additionally, the PR-2 is remote-controlled via the Sidus Audio™ app, which allows for every setting to be adjusted from up to 250ft away. This feature is especially useful if you need to make changes to your recording setup quickly from a long distance.

The Deity PR-2 Pocket Recorder also features Deity’s signature triple-tap locking method to prevent accidental stopping of recording when in someone's pocket. The headphone output allows for live monitoring and checking the lavalier sound quality before recording, which is useful for ensuring that you capture high-quality audio. The device runs on 2 AA batteries for nearly 30hrs of battery life.
