Blackmagic Design Video Assist 3G 7" Recorder/Monitor
The Blackmagic Design Video Assist 3G 7" Recorder/Monitor is the perfect tool for video professionals and hobbyists alike. This high-end device records 4K UHD, HD or SD footage as 10 bit ProRes 422 files while you monitor your shot with a bright 1920x1200 HDMI on-screen display. With its dual 3G-SDI inputs, you can record from any camera format up to 2160p30 in either NTSC or PAL formats.
In addition to recording internally, this device also has two SSD slots so you can work with proxies when shooting and review them later (in combination with a separate Thunderbolt dock). The monitor also features an array of focus assist tools including Peaking Filter, False Colori, Zebra, and 1:1, 2.35:1 or 16:9 aspect ratios. With it's large 7" touchscreen, Video Assist makes it incredibly easy to frame shots and accurately focus. The touchscreen displays critical information while you’re shooting including the timecode, transport control, audio meters and a histogram for exposure. You can also customize the LCD to add or remove overlays such as current filename, focus peaking, zebra, false color, frame guides, 3D LUTs and more.
