Nikon Field Microscopes Mini Ez Micro

The Nikon EZ-Micro Stereoscopic Microscope allows users to observe microscopic objects with a 20x (fixed lens) while simultaneously photographing them with one of the 16 compatible Nikon COOLPIX digital cameras. Illuminated by two white LED lights with a 3-step power switch, the Nikon EZ-Micro has a close focus distance of 1.5 inches above the base of the stage, a real field of view of 11 diameters and a wide interpupillary distance adjustment of 51 - 72mm. The entire optical system produces an erect, unreversed image, with the eyepiece diopter separately adjustable.

Compatible with Nikon Coolpix Digital Cameras

The EZ-Micro is compatible with a wide range of Coolpix digital cameras and Fieldscope digital camera bracket combinations, including the Coolpix S1, S3, S5, S6, S7, S7c, S8, S9 (requires FSB-5 bracket), Coolpix P3 and P4 (requires FSB-4 Bracket, Coolpix P1 and P2 (requires FSB-3 bracket), Coolpix 5600 (requires FSB-2 bracket) or the Coolpix 4200, 5200, and 7900 (requires FSB-1A bracket). The overall magnification varies depending on the camera used. For example, when the COOLPIX P3 or P4 is connected, the widest-angle setting is approximately 20x with a maximum telescopic setting of approximately 70x. These same camera/bracket combinations can also be used with any Nikon Fieldscope and digiscoping eyepiece for a complete digiscoping system.

Compact And Lightweight

The EZ-Micro has a unique, attractive, compact design for outdoor use. It weighs approximately 595 grams (minus camera and bracket) and measures just 13.5 x 14.5 x 10.7 cm when not in use, and the height varies from 16.25 - 20.2 cm when in use.

Efficient Illumination

The EZ-Micro is illuminated by two white LED lights to provide for dim-light observation and photography, with a 3-step power switch, and powered by one AA-type alkaline battery that provides 10 hours of operation.

Ergonomic design

Made of environmentally friendly materials, it provides increased adjustment for more convenient, easier use, and the sliding base makes the scope body more stable when a digital camera is attached.
