The Nikon PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope 82 (no eyepiece) are the basic models of Nikon's Fieldscope series of monoculars and the successor to the RA III series. The bodies of the Fieldscope PROSTAFF 5 monoculars are 20% lighter than the currently used RA III monoculars. The new lens with eyepiece zoom minimizes colour defects at the edge of the field of view and offers a large hanging exit pupil for comfortable observation.

The Nikon PROSTAFF 5 Fieldscope 82 (no eyepiece) are the basic models of Nikon's Fieldscope series of monoculars and the successor to the RA III series. The bodies of the Fieldscope PROSTAFF 5 monoculars are 20% lighter than the currently used RA III monoculars. The new lens with eyepiece zoom minimizes colour defects at the edge of the field of view and offers a large hanging exit pupil for comfortable observation.

Three types of Digiscoping-compatible eyepiece lenses can be attached to various COOLPIX series compact digital camera models using the FSB series digital camera mount.

Features:

Lightweight body with a weight of approximately 20% lower compared to the current model.

Minimization of colour defects at the edge of the field of view and large hanging of the exit pupil thanks to a new lens with eyepiece zoom.

Large objective lens (60 mm & 82 mm) for greater brightness of the field of view.

All lenses and prisms in the body of the device and the eyepiece are covered with multiple layers.

Waterproof (to a depth of 1 m for 10 minutes) body sealed with O-rings and filled with nitrogen against fogging. Waterproof eyepiece lenses.

A Digiscoping mount is available for the three new eyepiece lens models, which can be attached to various COOLPIX series compact digital camera models using the FSB series digital camera mount.

Built-in retractable sun visor.

Ecological glasses without lead and arsenic.

The cover includes a cover.

There are two holes for the body mounting screws, which allow a stable mounting on a tripod that can be adjusted for the possible use of the Digiscoping system.

Stylish and compact design.

Currently used eyepiece lenses for the RA III series are compatible with the body of the new Fieldscope PROSTAFF 5 monocular telescope.
