KUPO KCP-612 Menace Arm Kit For Schedule 40 Truss Pipe

The KUPO KCP-614 Menace arm kit allows the gaffer to use standard 1-1/2” schedule 40 pipes (48.3mm) to build a menace arm to their own size requirements.

A menace arm is designed primarily to boom the set in order to hold lighting in the desired position while keeping the stand out of the shot. The front adapter of the kit comes with 2 baby pins and 1 junior receiver which allows you to mount lighting fixtures or other grip accessories such as a flag or frame. The front adaptor also includes a D-ring for attaching the ratchet strap. The rear adapter is welded with 2 hooks for mounting sandbags to counterbalance the boom, The rear adaptor also includes a D-ring for a ratchet strap connection. The centre adaptor mounts into a grip head, and also includes a D-ring for ratchet strap attachment. The joint pipe adapter comes with dual knobs for safely mounting while connecting the pipe from both sides. The locking knobs are captive which prevents the knobs from being lost even if completely unscrewed.

We recommend using a Centre Weighted KCP-440 grip head and a strong Junior Stand with castors to support this Menace arm kit.
