The RF 50mm f/1.4L VCM offers stable video compositions with extremely little focus breathing. The combination of VCM and Nano USM actuators, thoroughly suppresses breathing in all focus positions optically, meaning that this lens can be used for shooting videos with extremely stable composition.
Iris Ring for Manual Aperture Control
Get the cinema lens experience when shooting movies with an iris ring that offers manual aperture control allowing you to adjust the depth of field. Enjoy a light smooth torque, handy for reducing external noise during movie recording.
L-Series Design and Reliability
